Although much of a gathering is spontaneous fabulousness, there are key teams of volunteers that provide things like food preparation, decoration, fire-tending and welfare. Volunteering together is a great way to build friendships at gatherings and to show your love and appreciation for the Faerie community. You can step up for many of these roles on the booking form.
The kitchen volunteers keep the gathering fed by cooking lunch and dinner at the gathering. The team comprise a Kitchen Odesa (or two) who come up with a meal plan, and a team of kitchen helpers to chop, bake and stir! Cooking at the gathering is a great communal activity and a lot of fun!

The Welfaeries are a volunteer team that look after wellbeing at the gathering. They offer comfort to Faeries in need of emotional support,and look after Faeries with access and mobility needs.

The twigglets deal with all things fire-related at the gathering. They build, light and tend the fire pits at the main building and in the camping field, and ensure they are safe.

For many Faeries, drag is an important part of a gathering - a place to experiment with clothing, costumes and self-expression, outside the norms of outside society. There will be a drag area at the Lodge that will be stocked with clothing & accessories from the Faerie Drag Bag. You are invited to bring any fabulous unwanted costumes to add to the bag!

The Love Temple is a space at the gathering for intimate connections.

Events and ritual are the beating-heart of gatherings. This team manages traditional events such as the No Talent Show and Fae Auction, along with rituals such as the opening and closing ceremonies.
